Great to meet locals

Nice app to actually be social irl and meet new people especially if you’re new in a city or are looking for people outside of your regular circles. Right now there’s a limited amount of people on the app, but that will hopefully change soon 🙂

Interesting app

Looking forward to play MOOORE padel!!! 🙌 I’ve been using NT in Asia but found out about Mitra while travelling in Berlin so I’ve tried it out. I’m glad the chat section works properly as I had trouble in similar apps. Overall the design feels easy to navigate too.

Is Mitra a dating app?

No. Mitra is for real-life activities — a coffee, a run, a gallery — with one person nearby who’s up for the same thing. No swiping, no romance, no pressure. Just doing the thing.

Is Mitra free?

Yes — free to download and use in Berlin, no card needed. Finding an activity partner stays free.

Is it safe to meet someone from Mitra?

Like with any social app, a little common sense goes a long way: pick a public, popular spot for a first meetup, keep the conversation in the app, and don’t share personal details until you’re comfortable. You can block or report anyone in a tap.

How does matching work?

There’s no matching system. You see people nearby and choose who to send an activity request to — and you choose which requests to accept. Every meetup is two people who both said yes.

Who is Mitra for?

Solo movers, expats, remote workers, and anyone in their 20s or 30s who wants more real-life plans and fewer group chats that go nowhere.

Do I have to share my number or address?

No. No exact address, no phone-number swap. You chat in-app and share only what you choose, until you’re ready to meet.
