Two Friedrichstadt-Palast seats cost €39.60 on a Tuesday and €69.80 on a Saturday night. Prices for 10 dates, who the show suits, and tips. Checked Oct 2026.
Friedrichstadt-Palast Berlin is running its Grand Show, BLINDED by DELIGHT, with dates on sale up to 3 July 2027. Two seats in the cheapest category cost €39.60 on a Tuesday and €69.80 on a Saturday night, for the same seat category. Within the cheapest category, the day you pick matters most.
The Palast uses dynamic pricing, so each date has its own price. We checked ten dates in its webshop on 16 October 2026 and put them side by side, with who the show suits and how to make a night of it for two.
The short version
- BLINDED by DELIGHT runs about 2.5 hours including the interval, with evening shows at 19:30 and afternoon shows at 15:30 on most weekends.
- Prices move with demand. On the dates we checked, the cheapest seat was €19.80 on a Tuesday and €34.90 on a Saturday evening.
- The show is recommended from age 8, and children under 6 are not admitted.
- About 60% of the songs and spoken passages are in German, and the Palast publishes English translations of the lyrics.
- Our pick for two: a Tuesday evening, booked direct with the Palast, so you can rebook for free if one of you drops out.

What two seats cost, date by date
These are the category prices the Palast’s webshop listed for each performance when we checked on 16 October 2026. Category 5 is the cheapest, then Category 5+, then Category 4. Because pricing is dynamic, the Palast says prices can rise at short notice on popular days, and a category can sell out. Treat this as a pattern, not a quote.
| Performance | Category 5, one seat | Category 5, two seats | Category 4, one seat | Category 4, two seats |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tue 10 Nov 2026, 19:30 | €19.80 | €39.60 | €39.90 | €79.80 |
| Thu 12 Nov 2026, 19:30 | €24.90 | €49.80 | €44.90 | €89.80 |
| Fri 13 Nov 2026, 19:30 | €29.90 | €59.80 | €49.90 | €99.80 |
| Sat 7 Nov 2026, 15:30 | €29.90 | €59.80 | €54.90 | €109.80 |
| Sat 14 Nov 2026, 19:30 | €34.90 | €69.80 | €59.90 | €119.80 |
| Sun 15 Nov 2026, 15:30 | €24.90 | €49.80 | €44.90 | €89.80 |
| Tue 15 Dec 2026, 19:30 | €19.80 | €39.60 | €39.90 | €79.80 |
| Sat 19 Dec 2026, 19:30 | €34.90 | €69.80 | €59.90 | €119.80 |
| Tue 12 Jan 2027, 19:30 | €19.80 | €39.60 | €39.90 | €79.80 |
| Sat 16 Jan 2027, 19:30 | €34.90 | €69.80 | €59.90 | €119.80 |
The pattern held in all three months. Tuesday evening was the cheapest night every time, Saturday evening the dearest. For two people in Category 4, that is €79.80 against €119.80, a difference of €40.00 for the same part of the hall. A Sunday afternoon sat in the middle, at the same price as the Thursday.
Three discounts are worth knowing. Students, children and teenagers, jobseekers and some other groups get 20% off, and guests aged 65 and over 10%, but only in Categories 1+ to 4, not in Categories 5 and 5+. A student in Category 4 on a Tuesday would pay €31.92 instead of €39.90. Holders of a Berlin Welcome Card get 25% off in the categories from the Wall Sky Lounge down to Category 2, but only by phone or at the box office, and not from 24 to 31 December.
€39.60 for two on a Tuesday buys a show with over 100 performers, if you have the second person. On MITRA you can post the date you have in mind, and someone who wants to go can ask to join you. Get MITRA on Google Play · Download on the App Store
What the show is actually like
It is a revue, not a musical. The Palast describes BLINDED by DELIGHT as driven by visual storytelling, dance, music, acrobatics and imagery rather than a linear plot. There is a thread, a woman called Luci who wakes up in a dream world, but you are not there to follow it. You are there for over 100 performers, almost 600 costumes by the fashion designer Jeremy Scott, and a stage the Palast calls the biggest theatre stage in the world.
The hall seats 1,899. The cheaper categories are in the stalls and high stalls, and the Palast recommends the high stalls for taking in the whole picture. For a show built on spectacle, we would not pay extra to sit closer.
There is no dress code, but the Palast asks you to respect the occasion and skip the tracksuit bottoms. Coats and large bags go to the cloakroom, which is free. You cannot take food or drink into the hall, so the trick is to order your interval drinks at the bar before the show starts. They are then waiting at a table when the interval begins. Most foyer bars are card-only. Photos and filming are not allowed during the show, only during the final applause.

Who it is not for
- Anyone who wants a story. If you love a musical for its plot and dialogue, you will feel the lack of one. A night of stand-up comedy in Berlin gives you more words per euro.
- Small children. Under-6s are not admitted, and the recommendation is age 8 and up.
- People sensitive to noise or flashing light. The Palast says the show can get quite loud and advises ear protection for noise-sensitive guests. It advises guests prone to epileptic seizures not to attend.
- Wheelchair users who cannot plan ahead. There are four wheelchair spaces in the hall, so call or visit the box office early.

Going with someone
This is a good show to see with someone you do not know well yet. You sit side by side, so the evening does not depend on keeping a conversation going, and the interval hands you the costumes and staging to talk about over the drinks you ordered earlier.
One person usually books both seats. If you do, book on the Palast’s own site. Tickets bought from the Palast can be rebooked for another date, or swapped for a voucher, up to two hours before the show. That makes a plan with a new person much less risky. Tickets from third-party sellers do not get that option.
Meet at U Oranienburger Tor, at the door, half an hour before the show. Doors open an hour before, which leaves time for the cloakroom and the bar, and a 19:30 show ends at about 22:00. For more ideas for the darker months, see our winter in Berlin guide.
Tickets
Official tickets start at €19.80 on palast.berlin. You can also book through the ticket hotline on +49 30 2326 2327, open daily from 9:00 to 19:00, or at the box office to the right of the main entrance, open Monday to Saturday from 14:00 to 18:30 and one hour before each show.
Where a date shows as almost sold out, the Palast says remaining tickets may be available through the hotline or box office. For another December evening, see Christmas Garden Berlin.
