Halloween in Berlin 2026 falls on a Saturday, and 12 of the 15 events we checked are on 31 October. Standard published prices run from €5 (Britzer Garten) to €38.90 (Halloween Run, 10 km). Reformationstag is not a Berlin holiday.

The short version
- Eight events run on both Friday 30 and Saturday 31 October, three only on the Friday (the Halloween train, the ghost tour, Spindler & Klatt) and four only on the Saturday (Britzer Garten, the Wuhlheide railway, the Halloween Run, MAGICUM).
- Cheapest for two adults on the organisers’ own prices: €10 at Britzer Garten and €16 on the Wuhlheide railway. Dearest standard ticket for two: €77.80 for two 10 km places in the Halloween Run (€69.80 for two 5 km); Karls’ VIP ticket is €89.90 per person.
- Age limits: 16+ at the Filmpark Horrornächte, 18+ at the Berlin Dungeon Blackout and at Spindler & Klatt; Karls Grusel-Nacht, the Galli Theater and the Zoo and Tierpark tours take young children.
- Two of the 15 show no price on the pages we could read (the Halloween train and the Filmpark Horrornächte); Klaistow publishes only that farm entry is free and the pumpkin exhibition has a small fee; the two club parties show only ticket-seller “from” prices.

The bit that catches everyone out
The Zoo and the Tierpark have no Halloween party. Both list a guided Gruselige Tierwelt tour, and the Tierpark’s calendar says it is “nicht die einstige Halloween-Veranstaltung”, not the old Halloween event. Tickets are online pre-sale only, strictly limited.
We would book the Friday first. Eleven events run on Friday 30 October and twelve on Saturday 31, but the ghost tour, the Halloween train and the Spindler & Klatt party exist only on the Friday.
31 October is not a holiday in Berlin. Berlin made Reformationstag a holiday once, in 2017 (Senate interior department), and in 2026 it is a Saturday anyway. Brandenburg, home of Potsdam, Elstal and Klaistow, keeps it, according to tipps-berlin.de, a secondary source we did not check against Brandenburg law.
Oktoberfest is over before Halloween week. The Hofbräu Wirtshaus Oktoberfest runs 19 September to 25 October, costs €39 per person with two Maß of beer included (plus a 4.99% service fee per order), and says there are no walk-in or standing places on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Who each one is for
With children. Britzer Garten’s Halloween im Park (31 October, 16:00 to 21:00) has face painting, a witches’ cauldron dance, a lantern procession, a fire show and costume prizes, all in park entry. The Wuhlheide railway runs six timed departures from Bf. Eichgestell on 31 October; normal tickets are not valid. Karls rates its scare zones one to five “Angsthasen” and does not refund Grusel-Nacht tickets. The Halloween train recommends age 6 and up, has five themed compartments, no toilets and no boarding on the way. We would start with the Wuhlheide railway: €14 for an adult and a child, a real train, booked in advance by form, phone or at the station; some departures may already be booked out, so check the slot list.
Teenagers and adults. The Filmpark Horrornächte admit only from 16, open the gates at 18:30 and finish with a show in the Vulkan Arena at 23:00. Full costumes, masks, backpacks and drinks are not allowed, and the organiser says it is unsuitable for pregnant people, people with pacemakers, epilepsy or asthma. The Dungeon Blackout is 18+, €20 a head, lasts 30 to 80 minutes in near darkness with one small light supplied, and is not wheelchair accessible. The Bärentouren ghost tour is theatre with a night watchman and an alchemist, and ends with a drink. We would send a visiting friend on the ghost tour: registration is required, and the page does not say whether an English tour exists, so ask on +49 30 34 78 74 07 before booking.
Two people, one plan. The ghost tour begins at a church entrance in Wedding. The Blackout hands you one small light, so agree beforehand who holds it. On MITRA you post a place and a time, and you decide who joins.
Pumpkins instead. The Klaistow pumpkin exhibition runs daily from 5 September to 15 November, and Karls’ pumpkin season runs to 1 November; its pumpkin page lists carving pumpkins at €4 and €6.50. Klaistow’s FAQ says farm entry is free and only the pumpkin exhibition charges a small fee, with no amount published. Indoors instead: rainy day activities or escape rooms in Berlin.

What has no 2026 details yet
The Halloween train has not announced a price or a ticket sale date, and the Filmpark Horrornächte price sits in a ticket shop we could not read. Klaistow has not published the pumpkin-exhibition fee or the maze and ice rink prices. Prison Island’s own page says a Horror Story runs from 16 October on selected weekends from 19:00 and lists no dates or price, and its age limit conflicts with the visitBerlin listing, so we left it out of the count. We could not confirm a Halloween event at Spreepark from its online calendar. We found no Halloween show at the Friedrichstadt-Palast: its children’s show Spooky Charlottenburg only starts on 19 November. We did not verify any Halloween pub crawl or further club parties.

When is Halloween in Berlin 2026?
Halloween is on Saturday 31 October 2026. Karls Grusel-Nacht starts on 23 October, while the Filmpark Horrornächte (from 9 October) and the Tierpark tours (from 8 October) already run on earlier dates. 12 of the 15 events we checked are on 31 October and eleven run on Friday 30 October.
What is the cheapest Halloween event in Berlin in 2026?
Of the events with a published price, Britzer Garten on 31 October from 16:00 to 21:00 has the lowest adult price: the event is included in park entry, which is €5 for adults and €2.50 reduced.
Which Halloween events in Berlin are for adults only?
The Dungeon Blackout on 30 and 31 October is 18+ with ID and costs €20. The Filmpark Horrornächte admit only from 16. The Halloween Nightmare at Spindler & Klatt on 30 October is listed as 18+ with ID, from €17.49 at the ticket seller.
Which Halloween events in Berlin suit young children?

Is 31 October a public holiday in Berlin?
No. Berlin made Reformationstag a public holiday once, in 2017. In 2026 31 October is a Saturday. Brandenburg keeps it as a holiday, according to tipps-berlin.de.
Is there a Halloween party at the Zoo or Tierpark in Berlin?
No party. Both list a Gruselige Tierwelt guided tour at €13 plus entry, from age 4, with costumed children aged 4 to 15 paying €6.50. The Tierpark says it is not the former Halloween event.
